Description
Our Canis Extra Ear Care has been specially developed to gently cleanse and care for sensitive dog ears and support the natural balance of the delicate skin - without any artificial additives.
Whether upright ears, floppy ears or folded ears - dogs' ears are as varied as our beloved four-legged friends themselves. But they all have one thing in common, they need regular care to stay healthy.
This is because they are susceptible to contamination, moisture build-up and earwax, as the climate in the ear canal is warm and often poorly ventilated. This can lead to problems such as itching and head shaking, redness, irritation and unpleasant odours or deposits of earwax.
Dogs with floppy, hanging ears (such as Cocker Spaniels, Beagles) are particularly at risk due to restricted air circulation, while upright standing ears (such as English Shepherds) pick up dirt more quickly. Dogs that like to swim also tend to accumulate moisture in the ear, which can increase the risk of ear problems.
You can prevent these problems with regular, gentle cleaning and help to support the natural protective function of the sensitive skin in the ear.
Our formula is based on carefully selected, purely natural ingredients that gently cleanse the ear and care for the sensitive skin in the ear area.
It contains Aqua, Pinus Sylvestris Wood Extract, a plant extract from pine heartwood, it supports the natural skin barrier, provides a fresh feeling and neutralises unpleasant odours. Neem oil can support skin balance and also promote a healthy complexion. Tea tree oil, in adapted, low concentrations, helps to naturally reduce unpleasant odours, supports the gentle removal of dirt and debris and also cares for healthy skin. Geranium oil can help to regenerate and strengthen the skin, while lavender oil is known for its calming properties, which ensure a pleasant skin care experience.
Healthy ears are much more than just an aesthetic factor - they are crucial for your dog's well-being and also reflect their health. In addition to allergies and food intolerances, there can be many other reasons why your dog develops ear problems, e.g. unpleasant odours. Our team of experts will be happy to help you get to the bottom of these if required.
Trust in nature and give your dog the feeling of freshness and well-being with Canis Extra Ear Care. Ideal for regular ear care for dogs of all breeds. Our Canis Extra Ear Care is very easy to use with it‘s practical pipette attachment enabling uncomplicated and precise dosing - without stress for your dog.
Important: We advise sensitive dogs, dogs that tend to have skin problems and puppies to first test our ear care with a small droplet on the ear. If unsure, use our Felins Plus® Ear Care for cats, as this does not contain tea tree oil. However, Canis Extra Ear Care for dogs is not suitable for cats.

Application
Shake the bottle before use.
Put 1-2 drops in each ear and gently massage the base of the ear to distribute the solution. Your dog will then do the rest – shaking their head is encouraged and helps to loosen impurities. If necessary, you can then gently remove any excess residue with a soft cloth.
Tip - for dogs with drooping ears, we recommend cleaning 1-2 times a week to avoid moisture build-up. Dogs that swim very often should have their ears cleaned and dried after every swim. Dogs with erect ears often require less care as the air circulation is better, in this case, cleaning every 2 weeks is usually sufficient. In acute cases, Canis Extra Ear Care can be used 1-2 times a day.
