For natural variety in a meal, we rely on 100% plant power – without any artificial additives. The ingredients in our Top-Fit-Mix Flakes are carefully selected to be well tolerated, especially by allergic or stomach-sensitive dogs, making them an ideal allergy-friendly dog food flake. Vegetables, fruit and herbs are gently air-dried to preserve their full plant power, with essential vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

Providing powerful support for the entire organism: With superfoods such as chia seeds, shiitake, sea buckthorn and aronia, our grain-free BARF vegetable flakes nourishes the body and delights the soul. Nutrient-rich, protein-packed chia seeds contain antioxidants, calcium, potassium, iron, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, and are a true source of energy – no wonder chia means "strength". Chia seeds swell in water and form a mucilaginous film that increases volume in the intestine. This can support intestinal movement and protect irritated mucous membranes. The mucus also serves as food for healthy gut bacteria. Aronia and sea buckthorn bring fruity depth to the mix and provide a concentrated dose of natural vitality. Aronia is rich in polyphenols that can protect the dog's body cells from oxidative stress. Sea buckthorn has a particularly high vitamin C and omega-7 fatty acid content, which can strengthen the immune system and simultaneously support skin and mucous membranes. In Asian medicine, shiitake has been considered a source of vitality and long life for centuries; it contains natural beta-glucane that can activate the immune system and promote the growth of healthy gut bacteria.
When using vegetables, fruit and herbs in flake mixes for dogs, it is very important that they are not pre-cooked to preserve the plants textures and the valuable secondary plant compounds as best as possible. This way, feeding remains simple and practical, while being nutrient-rich. Canis Extra Top-Fit-Mix Flakes, are a grain-free flake mix for dogs that are suitable for stomach-sensitive or allergic dogs, it provides the optimal vitamin-, mineral- and fibre-rich supplement to Naturavetal® Meat Pots, Meat Rolls and raw meat. They are vegetable flakes for dogs, but are richer, containing fruit, berries and herbs. They are a practical, grain-free flake mix for BARF and anyone who likes to prepare the dogs’ meals themselves.

Feeding recommendation
Normal healthy dogs should receive approximately a 30% plant-based supplement/side dish per day (see table). If you would like to feed your dog more or less plant-based side dishes, you can calculate the amount of vegetable flakes for your dog as follows:
1 tablespoon of dry dog food flakes corresponds to approx. 30g of fresh, plant-based side dish.
Preparation:
The grain-free vegetable flakes and water are divided between the meals. Stir the dry flakes with warm water, leave them to soak for 15 minutes and then mix the blend with the meat in each meal. The flakes can be soaked in either lukewarm or cold water.
Our tables show you the average recommended daily ration. Please use the lower values as a guideline and increase the feeding amount towards the higher values if necessary. Please also remember the calcium and oil source that you should supplement daily if you are feeding our pure meat variations and our flake mix for dogs as the main food. 1 tablespoon of flakes corresponds to approx. 10g.
Tip:
Soaked overnight, vegetable flakes expand to a filling volume and have a fragrant aroma. For special feeding recommendations, e.g. for puppies or seniors, please feel free to call us for individual advice.
