Particularly gently produced
A high-quality Dry Food should be cold-pressed and free from synthetic additives - just like our Canis Plus® . We work at low temperatures: our cold pressing process, which is gentle on vital substances, takes place at approx. 39°C under a short ambient pressure, which presses the ingredients together into the pellet form. This preserves vitamins, minerals and secondary plant substances as far as possible.
Our cold-pressed Canis Plus® Dry Food does not swell in the stomach, but breaks down into its components. Thanks to our cold-pressing process, we can dispense with all synthetic additives and offer high-quality and purely natural Dry Food. You can find out more about our production processes at here.
Canis Plus® Dry Food contains only one type of meat or fish for daily, species-appropriate feeding and puppies and young dogs are also well catered for with our Canis Plus® Puppy & Young Dog Food. Our Canis Plus® InsectVetal® offers an alternative with sustainable insect protein.
Depending on your pet's requirements, you can choose flexibly between different feeding concepts, whether grain-free or as a supplement to partial barking or wet food, the cold pressing process makes it all possible.
Valuable seedlings - with the essence of life
A remarkable speciality of the cold-pressed Canis Plus® Dry Food are the primordial sprouts made from naked oats, brown millet, buckwheat and mung bean. These sprouts contain the "essence of life". They are the new plant's storehouse of vitamins, minerals, proteins, omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids and natural antioxidants, and carry enormous vitality.
Sprouting can multiply their vitamin content by 400 to 600%. Sprouted seeds have a delicate structure and are therefore easy to digest. They have a very high enzyme activity, which is not yet present in the dormant seed. Canis Plus® Dry Food is also the only food that contains the 100% natural, nutritionally valuable vitality complex DogProMin made from algae and herbs.
Our DogProMin - the natural vitality complex
Our DogProMin rounds off our Canis Plus® Dry Food recipes and, in addition to the other carefully processed ingredients, provides valuable vitamins, minerals and trace elements in their natural form. Our herbal and algae mixture contains seaweed lime for a natural calcium supply and brewer's yeast, which provides natural B vitamins. In addition, ingredients such as artichoke, fennel and dandelion enhance the DogProMin recipe so that a wide range of healthy nutrients contribute to the dog's natural supply.
Easily digestible - the pellets do not swell
Unlike other conventional dog foods, Canis Plus® Dog food does not swell in the stomach and simply breaks down into its individual components - just as nature intended. This is easy on the stomach and can make a positive contribution to healthy bowel movements. If this is supported, natural intestinal cleansing can also be promoted, which can reduce the risk of parasite colonisation in the intestines. These are often the cause of food allergies.

With rich ingredients - perfect for animal gourmets
No animal or vegetable by-products such as feather meal, claws and horn or stems, stalks and leaves are used in Canis Plus® Dog food - these do not belong in Dog Food! Canis Plus® Dry Food also contains no fillers, making the food highly digestible, the feeding quantity low and the volume of faeces reduced accordingly.
The ingredients are processed without the addition of preservatives and are openly and individually labelled in the declaration. This guarantees a naturally healthy, transparent diet: even for sensitive or allergic animals.
All ingredients are carefully selected with the utmost care and regularly tested by independent laboratories. With incomparable quality and a wide variety of flavours, the Canis Plus® range is a favourite for animal gourmets who love to eat with a big appetite. You can find more information about our healthy ingredients at here.
Canis Plus® complete food can also be fed very well in combination with BARF, the Meat Pots and Meat Rolls or with the Complete Tinned Meals. It is also a perfect holiday alternative for dogs that are otherwise fed home-prepared, fresh food.

Further information and frequently asked questions (FAQ) about the special features of Canis Plus® Dry Food
In any case, the food should be free from synthetic additives such as artificial vitamins or preservatives. The right food for your dog depends on various factors such as its age, activity level and individual history. The character of your dog reveals a lot about what type of food might be best for it. Take a look here to find out more.
A diet food for dogs is adapted to the average requirements of an animal with a specific illness, such as kidney damage or liver disease. This food often contains cheap fillers and synthetic ingredients that interfere with the body's own processes. As a rule, these foods should therefore not be fed permanently, but only in phases.
Healthy foods are characterised by the fact that they do not contain any chemical additives such as synthetic vitamins, colourants, preservatives, fillers and also do not contain any inferior ingredients such as plant or animal by-products such as leaves, stalks, claws or feathers. Instead, healthy food contains genuine, natural ingredients.
When feeding natural food, you are basically feeding the right food for most health problems. As dogs can develop different problems, each with their own special requirements, you should always consult a vet to clarify which illness is present. You can then discuss needs-based feeding with our team of experts.
