This is a cold pressed, natural complete food for sensitive and allergy-prone dogs, with valuable salmon as the sole source of animal protein and a naturally high level of nutrients and vital elements for the extra-sensitive four-legged friend.
The fish supports the whole canine body and ranks highest in biological value. Easily digestible salmon contains a high percentage of vital omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which benefit dogs in Canis Plus® Salmon and the positive characteristics of which can be particularly helpful with skin, gastrointestinal, cardiac and joint problems. Browntop millet is used instead of traditional grains as a compatible replacement grain,
giving nutritional value to the food even if the dog has a grain allergy. Solubilised millet is considered to be an especially digestible grain substitute and is ideal for dogs with sensitive gastrointestinal tracts, skin or coat problems, or with musculoskeletal disorders.
Salmon oil and coconut fat provide animal and vegetable fatty acids, carob regulates the digestion, brewer’s yeast for a beautiful coat and healthy skin, and carrots for intact intestinal mucosa. Bananas provide various vitamins, minerals and trace elements as well as serotonin, the happiness hormone. Also included are calcium carbonate from seaweed as a 100% natural supply of calcium, nutritionally valuable malt sprouts, diatomaceous earth for a healthy coat and skin, concentrated enzyme power from hulled oat and browntop millet sprouts, and berry power from rosehips and blackberries for more vitality. Gently dried herbs like field horsetail, parsley, artichokes, fennel and dandelion support an active metabolism. So even sensitive and allergy-prone dogs can have their bowls filled with all-natural, easily digestible nutrition.
Free of synthetic additives, preservatives, dyes, fillers, gluten free and GM free.

If you have previously fed an extruded food (such as a branded commercial dry kibble), we recommend a complete change to our cold-pressed food. This is because the mixing of extruded and cold-pressed food is unfavorable for the dog due to the different digestion times. It is best to completely replace the meals with the Canis Plus® complete meals.
The optimal amount of food to feed, depends on various factors such as activity level, age, season, and physical & mental health and more. These factors should be assessed individually. Please note the recommended amount of food and stick to it for the first 1-2 weeks. Then you can monitor your dog's body weight to determine whether they may need a little more or less food.
It is possible to mix the feeds. You can mix our cold-pressed dry food with our complete meals, our pure meat products or BARF. For stomach-sensitive dogs, however, we recommend that dry and wet food should be fed in separate meals. Further information and tips for the changeover can be found here.
Should you have any questions about the changeover, our team will be happy to help you via e-mail or telephone.
