Not all food is the same! The quality of the raw ingredients and differing manufacturing methods can affect food considerably. Only when the best quality raw materials and a very gentle manufacturing process come together can a food be created that can positively influence the health of our four-legged friends. The carefully selected raw materials provide a variety of nutrients that are naturally present within them, while the gentle processing method ensures that these nutrients are preserved in the best possible way. Artificial additives, such as synthetic vitamins, are not necessary when the power of nature provides an interplay of high-quality ingredients and gentle processing.

The production of our cold pressed dry food 

A high-quality dry food should be cold pressed and free of any synthetic additives - just like our Canis Plus® for dogs and our Felins Plus® for cats.

The special thing about our cold pressed dry food varieties is that the raw materials are processed individually and very carefully during production.

The meat is gently cooked and ground so that it can be pressed.

The carbohydrate sources such as buckwheat or brown millet are broken down by a unique cooking process over hot steam so that their valuable nutrients are preserved in the best possible way. In this way, their crude fibre structures are separated from each other without being destroyed. This process ensures the carbohydrates are optimally digestible and can continue to promote healthy intestinal movement.

The vegetables, fruit and herbs are milled, gently air-dried and added to the other ingredients before cold pressing. This is because air drying ensures the best possible preservation of the various nutrients.

Our DogProMin made from special herbs and algae, rounds off the recipe consisting of natural vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

We work with low temperatures during the production of our cold pressed dry food. Our cold pressing, which needs to be gentle on vital substances, takes place at approx. 39°C to preserve the nutrients. It is also manufactured under a short ambient pressure, which presses the ingredients together into a pellet form. As a result, vitamins, minerals and secondary plant substances are largely preserved.

Our cold pressed dry foods do not swell in the stomach, but gently break down into their components. Thanks to our cold pressing process, we can dispense with all synthetic additives, instead offering high-quality and purely natural dry food. Depending on your requirements, you can flexibly choose between different feeding concepts or combine them, whether in addition to BARF or cooked wet food, the cold pressing process makes all this possible.

The production of our gently cooked wet food 

All our Canis Plus® complete meals, pure meat variations for dogs and our the Felins Plus® meal rolls for cats are cooked in a similar method. The respective ingredients of meat, vegetables, fruit, herbs and oil are mixed and then packed cold into the cans or rolls. The whole thing is then cooked in the shortest time possible. This production method is particularly gentle to ensure a shelf life without the use of artificial additives.

Herbs, berries, vegetables and fruit in our natural feed supplements are gently air-dried. This form of drying ensures that important nutrients, including the valuable secondary plant ingredients, are preserved in the best possible way.

The production of our natural chews 

Chewy snacks are good at strengthening the jaw muscles, they’re fun to bite into and can be nutritious treats or low-calorie snacks. However, be aware that not all snacks are the same. If a manufacturer opts for a closed declaration of ingredients and does not disclose exactly what is contained, this is not a good sign. Terms like "cereals", "animal and vegetable by-products", "oils and fats" or "minerals" without any further information should make you take notice. If ingredients such as sugar, synthetic vitamins, colourants, flavourings or preservatives are included, then it is definitely not a healthy snack. If you wish to feed snacks with a clear conscience, you should make sure that they do not contain these ingredients.
