Description
Black cumin oil supports the immune system and can therefore be helpful for immune deficiency or the dietary treatment of joint problems. It can play an equally positive role in intestinal yeast and fungal infections, e.g. Candida albicans.
Black cumin belongs to the buttercup (Ranunculaceae) family of plants and contains over 100 constituents such as saponin, melanthin, the bitter principle nigellin, tannins (which can have a positive effect on digestion and appetite) among others. Black cumin oil is rich in the polyunsaturated fatty acids linoleic acid (omega 6) and linolenic acid (omega 3).
When mixed into food, black cumin oil evaporates through the skin, disrupting endoparasites in the gut as well as ectoparasites on the skin. Adding oil also preserves food and drinking water quality, because it significantly slows down the multiplication of bacteria and fungi.

Feeding recommendation
From 4 months old, black cumin oil can be added to the feed for a short period, or it can be mixed with the drinking water. Black seed oil contains essential oils and should be fed in small quantities and only in phases.
- Dogs up to 5 kg: 2-3 drops/day
- Dogs 6-15 kg: 5 drops/day
- Dogs 16-29 kg: 8 drops/day
- Dogs from 30 kg: 10 drops/day
